So, I was bored and looking around the ‘net for something to draw, when I found this awesome “draw six characters like this” template on a random Reddit post.
Anyways, even though I had to look up what almost all of these prompts were, I really liked essentially all the potential designs that could come out of them based off of my quick Google searches, so I went ahead and did it!
This whole thing took me a total of NINE HOURS, making it the longest time it’s ever taken me to finish any singular artwork. As you can see, I also finally figured out how to upload images onto canvases on ibisPaint X! THE POWER I NOW WIELD!
(basic rundown of designs under cut)
B-Side Wiggly - Most B-Side designs are basically just “the character but with a different colour scheme and a few new accessories”, at least from what I’ve seen. I don’t know why I chose Tinky’s colour scheme specifically, but I like the mix between blue and gold.
Naturally, as this is a B-Side design, I gave him a microphone for the whole… rapping thing. I also replaced his coral crown with a dollar store paper one, turned the frown on his fur pattern upside-down, and you can’t really see it because of the pose, but he also has Wiley’s dog tag necklace.
Dark World Adam - This was the only form I didn’t look up, but mainly because I knew even if I did, I wouldn’t get much out of it. We haven’t seen enough Dark World designs to be able to see much consistency from them.
The stripes on his horns kinda looking like an Imp’s (and being pieced with jewels because if his horns were real he’d totally do that) and his wings being more demon-y was intentional, but him kinda dressing like Toriel wasn’t. I just thought his robe being dark purple with flames on the sleeves and the Delta Rune on his chest would be fitting- a complete coincidence, but a fairly fitting one nonetheless!
Tainted Tozu - This one’s kind of a bastardisation of Tainted forms, because all I did was look it up once and go, “Ah, yes. I have to make one of my favourite characters look like a character from a bad creepypasta with some shoehorned-in religious symbolism.”
Naturally, Tozu was the only fitting option for that. I gave his mask a black half to call back to his OG design, turned his fake horns into real horns, and turned the X on his cape into a real X made of blood. I also went ABSOLUTELY HARD on making his eye look as creepy as possible without overdoing it- I think I did well!
Shimmering Pomni - Now, I didn’t technically need to look this one up, but I haven’t touched Terraria in a while so I needed a recap on what exactly Shimmer forms looked like. I was surprised to see that a fair bunch of them are actually references to various other games- with that, I was left with only one option.
Gave her cape a star design on its interior… mainly because it looked good, but also because the Star Cloak exists, and no matter how subtle it was, I needed to throw some Terraria stuff in there SOMEHOW. Hence the presence of the little magical girl stars around her: no matter how much of a Deltarune reference it seems, it’s still a Shimmer design at heart.
Moonbound Mind - Looked up what exactly a Moonbound design was only to quickly see that they are ABSOLUTELY AWESOME holy fuck I love this aesthetic???
Naturally, there was noone more fitting for a Moonbound Design than… the Sun. What, did you think I’d say Heart? Gave him a nice little royal design (he’s the ruler of everything in the end~) …and I don’t know why I made that moss so sparkly, but. It looks good. I like sparkly things, alright?!
Mirror Dimension Myke - That’ll only make sense to people who have been following me for the past few months, but that’s right! Myke’s a Visitant in the Mirror Dimension! A fairly sadistic and hostile Visitant, but… hey, it’s Myke, what were you expecting?
I chose the Mirror Dimension specifically for this free space… pretty much because I wanted another excuse to talk about it. The thought process behind his design was basically just “make him look like a really cool superhero”, fitting for a defender of the truth such as himself.
The visor was inspired by Peridot from Steven Universe, what with the similar colour schemes they have, and… hey- hey Myke, THE TEMPLATE! STAY INSIDE THE TEMPLATE, FOR FUCK’S SAKE!

I was gifted a memory abt one of my exes while playing terraria and I desperately need to share it bc I feel like the whole situation is absolutely insane
I don’t even know how to tw tag this.
Okay so like. I got bad knees n ankles, like- really bad to the extent where if I leave my apartment I should be using a wheelchair.
When I was dating this dude I didn’t have a wheelchair yet bc I had been recently kicked out and hadn’t organized sneaking into my parents house to collect my shit yet.
We were going somewhere super early, can’t remember where but it involved bussing and a wagon.
To get to our bus stop we gotta hike up a decently steep hill. Nothing crazy but like, you wouldn’t have to pedal if you biked down it.
This man looks at me and tells me to get in the wagon which is like- yeah fair. It’s a good wagon, he’s a decently strong guy, my legs already hurt so I was down to get pulled up the hill.
We get to the top of the hill, the bench is fucked so I just kinda stay sitting in the wagon.
The weird part is that when the bus rolls up I start crawling out of the wagon and he like, kinda just wiggled the wagon so I couldn’t get my balance to get out. The bus is stopped at this point and I’m like “hey man let me out of the wagon we gotta get on our bus.”
Without a long, exasperated sigh he wiggles it harder and tells the bus driver to put down the wheelchair ramp and that I can’t walk. Bus driver makes eye contact with me, kneeling in a moving wagon trying to stand up out of it without eating shit, and said no.
My ex is like, unbelievably upset about this, pushes the wagon away with me still in it so I’m rolling DOWN THE HILL with one leg out of a wagon and still trying not to fall while he argues with this bus driver at like 4am. It’s been several minutes at this point so the bus driver is like “I can’t wait for you guys anymore.” And fucking leaves.
My ex had the audacity to blame me for us missing our bus while I’m still trying to stop myself from rolling all the way down the hill halfway in a wagon too?? At the time I was pissed but in hindsight what the fuck kind of cartoon villain shit was he on? The man pushed his disabled partner down a hill in a fucking wagon. Who does that???

DIG Deep In Galaxies Review (Steam)
Tumblr media
This DIG Deep In Galaxies Review shows a game that is  Kinda like Mario Bros but with guns and explosions. And you can dig, too. It's a roguelike, like most other indie games out there, so if you die you can start over again. And that's not even the best part: you can get super powerful and combo-kick a lot of ass.
DIG Deep In Galaxies Review Pros:
- Beautiful pixel art graphics. - 295.96MB download size. - Steam achievements. - Full controller support. - Remote play together support. - Graphics settings - fullscreen. - Rebind controls for both the keyboard and the controller buttons. - Roguelike survival gameplay. - Encyclopedia fills in as you discover enemies, characters, weapons, etc. - Online leaderboards. - Two ways to play - solo and with friends. - Friends have 3 modes - free the Galaxy, team challenges, and battle mode. - Solo has 2 modes - free the galaxy, and challenge mode. - Opening tutorial area. - The rope is used to help with traversal and climbing. - The environment is fully destructible. - In-game cutscenes. - 2D perspective. - Super attacks are activated when the bar is full, fill the bar by killing enemies. - Hit enemies and jumpers (dots) to gain a jump back allowing triple or more jumps. - Double jumps are standard. - Weapons wise you can have a melee and ranged weapon equipped. - Collect power orbs to increase your stats. - Four stats to upgrade - max HP, melee DMG, ranged DMG, and super. - Can skip cutscenes. - After finishing a planet you get to choose one of three skills/rewards.. - Has a Broforce look and feel to it. - You can see enemy health. - Breakable objects covering the world. - Planet selection is done by you flying your ship around in a top-down solar system map. - The difficulty is tied to the planet and is tagged via a one to the three-star system. - Big boss fights. - Physics plays a huge part especially with the rope swinging and enemies dropping. - Find space stations to buy goods. - Planets show key info before you select it - mission, difficulty, reward, gravity, and material. - Crazy good animations and cutscene vignettes. - Twin stick shooting and also for using the rope. - When on a rope you stay connected until you press jump so you don't need to hold a button down. - Find undiscovered planets and space rocks that house a self-contained event. - Loot chests everywhere. - Very addictive. - A lot of fun to play. - Can mine currency ranging from copper to platinum. - Weapons will have pop-up stats to help you with if it's worth picking up with clear red and green numbers. - You can go to empty planets as they might have loot. - Scratches the Terraria/star itch. - Full inventory management. - Pick up and equip new clothes adding buffs. - Fall damage. - You can hit rockets back. - Icons do some good in guiding you, you are looking to do 3 missions, boss fights then a showdown. - Play how you want. - Boss encounters add higher difficulty ratings. - An end-of-run breakdown showing playtime and kills, gold, and completed missions. - Unlock new characters by progressing the story and rescuing them. Each has unique skills, stats, and inventory. - Every new run has you playing a small area to get the ship key. - The traversal is really fast and kinda cool if you time swings and attack. - Different weather effects and biomes. - Every run is randomized from planets to enemies to missions and loot. - Unlock new difficulties. DIG Deep In Galaxies Review Cons: - No graphics settings. - The rope takes a lot of getting used to, more because it doesn't stick to the side walls, only ceilings. - Fall damage. - You have to unlock new difficulties. - Can get overwhelming. - Melee especially early on is really dangerous. - Twin-stick directions stay and that can make for tedious moments. - The Ui is rather small. - Screen tearing is common. - Can feel a bit aimless. - Unkillable rocket launchers. - Cannot play online with randoms. Rules: answer the questions and tag some friends at the bottom!
1. Are you named after anyone?
First name: not to my knowledge (though it has previously been used by a relative long ago).
Middle name: half of it, but saying more would be telling.
2. When was the last time you cried?
When I went to see @danielhowell’s stage show last week. I was initially apprehensive about the nihilistic bent, but it was a great show with a good message.
3. Do you have kids?
No, but I would love to someday!
4. Do you use sarcasm a lot?
More so if I’m tired.
5. What’s the first thing you notice about people?
Accent.
6. What’s your eye color?
Dark brown.
7. Scary movies or happy endings?
Happy endings are king. I don’t even like to read fics tagged with Major Character Death. I did it properly once, long ago, and was an emotional wreck for a week. (Although, I don’t think there’s a scary movies/happy endings dichotomy! I just haven’t seen many scary movies.)
8. Any special talents?
I’m great at finding space where there seems to be none, like in the fridge or car boot. No magic involved: I’m just good at real-life Tetris. I can also cross my ring fingers over my pinkies without assistance.
9. Where were you born?
In the shower stall at home (by accident).
10. What are your hobbies?
Writing, reading, organising, listening to and researching wizard rock, knitting (occasionally), wiki editing (sometimes), playing co-op games (e.g. Stardew Valley, Terraria), trying new foods, watching sitcoms, looking at cat pictures on Reddit.
11. Have you any pets?
No, and I never have, but my neighbour’s cat, Kevin, often comes to visit. He is a Standard Issue Cat™️ with a white belly and the most adorable nose.
12. What sports do you play/have you played?
I did gymnastics both competitively and recreationally as a kid (two different periods, two different clubs), as well as Little Athletics. I wasn’t outstanding at anything, but my favourite was probably the hurdles.
13. How tall are you?
163 cm, which I believe is 5′4″.
14. Favorite subject in school?
English, always.
15. Dream job?
Children’s librarian, with a dose of writing on the side.
Tagging ... anyone who sees this who’d like to do it! Tag me so I can see your answers and get to know you better!

What to Play Instead of Hogwarts Legacy
I’ve seen a lot of comments and tags suggesting there are a lot of great games to play instead of Hogwarts Legacy, but very few actual title suggestions. I decided to dig around and put together a list of possible games that people may enjoy playing instead of Hogwarts Legacy. Please add everything I’ve missed!
I’ve sorted this (long) list of titles into three categories: open world games, games set in schools, and games with cool magic systems. I don’t list games multiple times. I’ve tried to hit multiple gaming systems--including mobile--so that everyone has something fun to play.
The games are not listed in any particular order. I’ve not played all of them, for one, and two, everyone’s preferences are so varied that I didn’t even want to try. Every game has a link. If the game did not have a webpage, I’ve linked to the Wikipedia page instead.
Open World Games
For this category I sought out games with large maps and a variety of quests that you can explore in nearly any order.
Terraria (PS, PS Vita, PC, , Mac, Linux, XBox, Switch, Android, IOS) https://terraria.org/ A 2D game a bit like Minecraft. It lets you build, explore, and fight. Some areas are protected by bosses that you must defeat to continue exploring. It also has magic.
Dragon Age: Inquisition (PS, PC) https://www.ea.com/games/dragon-age/dragon-age-inquisition You’re in the wrong place at the right time to become the only person capable of defeating a monster intent on destroying the world. Meanwhile, mages and templars are battling one another to determine the fate of magic. The story and characters in this are fantastic and you have multiple options for romance. You may also choose to play as a mage.
Sea of Thieves (XBox, PC) https://www.seaofthieves.com/ Everyone’s talking pirates these days, so why not a game where you play as one? This game gives you options: you can explore, build up your renown in a Season, or pick a storyline to play out. This is a game that really sings, though, when you play it in multiplayer mode.
Marvel’s Spider-Man & Spider-Man: Miles Morales (PS) https://insomniac.games/game/spider-man-ps4/ https://insomniac.games/game/marvels-spider-man-miles-morales/ An incredibly detailed New York City, deep storylines, and cool combat make these games ones to pick up. The map is always updating, too, as you gain experience new side quests appear in places you’ve already been.
Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim (PS, PC, XBox, Switch) https://elderscrolls.bethesda.net/en/skyrim Massive, massive game with a lot of quests and storylines to explore--including one in a magic school. The world is torn by a civil war and dragons are terrorizing the countryside. The level of detail in the game is amazing.
Elden Ring (PS, PC, XBox) https://en.bandainamcoent.eu/elden-ring/elden-ring Your goal in this game is to become one of the Elden Lords. How you get there, though, is largely up to you. This game will not hold your hand and it is up to you to keep track of completed storylines and lore. Exploration is essential, though be careful, you may encounter a boss roaming around.
Horizon Zero Dawn (PS, PC) and Horizon Forbidden West (PS) https://www.guerrilla-games.com/games You play as Aloy, a young woman ostracized from her own people, and living in a world crawling with mechanistic monsters. The setting for this game is just cool. It is post-post-apocalyptic with interesting societies that have rebuilt in the ashes of our demise. Absolutely beautiful scenery, fantastic story, and very interesting and varied side quests.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (Switch, Wii U) https://www.zelda.com/breath-of-the-wild/ Beautiful game that builds on the story of Link, Zelda, and Ganon, taking it in a new and interesting direction. Another cool part about this world is that the game follows real world rules/truisms. Animals act like animals. Lightning is attracted to metal. The map only fills up once you explore.
Wilderless (Android, iOS) http://nimianlegends.com/wilderless.htm https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.Protopop.Wilderless&hl=en_US&gl=US Just a massive map of lovely locations to explore without any quests or battles. The world is supposedly infinite and procedurally generated.
Sky: Children of the Light (Switch, Android, iOS) https://www.thatskygame.com/ By the same people who brought you Journey, this game features fun puzzles and a fantastic soundtrack. Your goal is to free spirits and return them to the light, a process made easier by cooperating with other players. However, your only means of communication in the moment are wordless expressions and gestures.
Genshin Impact (PS, PC, Switch, Android, iOS) https://genshin.hoyoverse.com/en/ This game has over 20 playable characters, each with their own unique abilities. You’ll learn to swap quickly between characters during combat to trigger cool combo moves. This is a ‘gacha’ game, but if you’re willing to grind you can still unlock all the areas. All the reviews say the paid elements don’t really matter that much and are “unobtrusive.”
Games Set in Schools
For this section I focused on games set in schools. I avoided horror titles, though there are plenty if that is your jam. I tried to avoid games where the school is only present for one storyline.
Monster Prom (PS, XBox, Switch, PC, Mac, Linux) http://monsterprom.pizza/ This is a narrative, 2D, competitive dating sim filled with meaningful choices and fun characters. You can play with up to three friends and all try to land a date with your monstrous crush--a matter made more difficult if two of you are gunning for the same person. The game has 22 secret endings and comedic writing so replayability is high.
Kindergarten (PC, Mac) https://store.steampowered.com/app/589590/Kindergarten/ In this story-driven, puzzle adventure game you are a kindergartener just trying to survive Monday. The sequel takes place on Tuesday. This does include some pixelated blood and such.
Life is Strange (PS, XBox, PC, Stadia, Android, iOS) https://lifeisstrange.square-enix-games.com/en-us/ This is a series of games with the first centered around a school in Arcadia Bay. Honestly, this title is a bit of a stretch, but I adore it too much to leave it off. In the first game you play as Max who discovers that she can manipulate time. This is a choice-and-consequences game where your decisions shape the story and even decide who lives and dies.
Persona 5 (PS) https://atlus.com/p5r/lang/en/ A massive JRPG where you play as a student who, during the day, must attend school or work at a part-time job, but who, at night, saves the world. You lead a team of other students who, as the Phantom Thieves, dive into the metaverse where you’re able to help people reform. Build relationships with NPCs to unlock new skills and abilities.
Bully (PS, XBox 360, Wii, PC, Android, iOS) https://www.rockstargames.com/games/bully The goal of this game is to go from universally hated new guy to king of the school while also attending classes, which are minigames. This is a game of getting beat up, beating up other people, running from authority figures, and making out with the guy or girl you like. There is a quest where a teacher asks you to sneak into the girls’ dorm and steal their panties, though.
Academagia (PC) https://www.academagia.com/ This game combines a school setting with magic. The game bills itself as a life simulation and rpg where you roleplay as a student in a magic school and create your own unique story through interaction with the over 80 npcs and 800 random events. The game does involve a lot of reading. Replayability is high.
Magical Diary: Horse Hall and Wolf Hall (PC, Mac, Linux) https://www.hanakogames.com/magical_diary.shtml These games are visual novels with some game elements, such as puzzles. Horse Hall has a female protagonist while Wolf Hall has a male one, both have male and female romance options. As the title suggests, the games are set in a magic school where you learn spells that you can then use while exploring.
Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy (PS, XBox, Switch, PC, Mac) https://www.wikiwand.com/en/Star_Wars_Jedi_Knight:_Jedi_Academy Attend the Jedi Academy while also completing missions around the universe. Which order you complete these missions is up to you. You also must decide what type of Jedi you want to be: Light or Dark. This is primarily a fighting game.
Fire Emblem: Three Houses (Switch) https://www.nintendo.com/store/products/fire-emblem-three-houses-switch/ This is a tactical strategy game where your relationships are as important as your combat skills. Unlike other games on this list, in Fire Emblem, you are the teacher and it is your job to train your students for survival. There are romances (with your students though you’re about the same age) and some questionable elements (leering in one minigame), though.
Games with Cool Magic Systems
This is the most subjective category and I’ve really relied on lists and reviews for the games that other people found engaging. Whether they involve crafting, creating combos, interacting with the environment, or new interaction mechanics, these games all do something cool with magic.

Imagine a woman who can turn invisible and when she does, her voice becomes inaudible, except you still internalize what she says. And she uses this ability and bit of mind manipulation power to slowly twist and prune your psyche like a bonsai tree, contorting you into someone you never dreamed of being or feared becoming. She rewires sensations, alters the tones of memories, and embeds curiosities. Never does she use her power to make you do something. Instead she slowly shapes you until you do what she wants of your own free will, even if part of you is still wondering how you got here and why you want this. Because she lets you retain that much. She wants you to always remember how drastically you've changed without ever, ever knowing why.

"So be mine!" Tim said, feeling desperate. His efforts to reunite the Waynes were failing one by one. "Be a Drake." Inwardly he cringed. No way would Jason ever be interested in being Tim's family. Besides, making Jason a Drake wasn't going to help reconcile Jason and Bruce so that Tim could (would have to) make his graceful (reluctant) exit.
Jason scoffed. "And how exactly would that work?"
He'd stopped leaving. Jason was listening. Tim's mind threw into overdrive. "We'll say you were stolen as a baby."
"What?" Jason asked. "I think people would remember that."
Tim started pacing, the plan, such as it was, flying together. "No, they wouldn't. People forget things all the time. They trust evidence more than their own minds, so we'll just give them evidence."
"Look, I don't see why you're so--"
"It would work," Tim interrupted, the excitement of a new impossible task settling over him. "We can spoof hospital records, assign doctors and nurses who are retired or dead now, fake some police reports, embed some news articles in the paper archives. If I get my team to help, we can probably spoof a broadcast or two with a good deepfake. Everyone knows my parents were often absent--it was because of you. I'll backdate a payoff to suggest that's why they stopped talking about it."
He pointed at Jason. "I'll have to doctor your DNA record in the Batcomputer, but as long as you don't give Bruce any new samples, it should be fine. I'll find your birth certificate and go to the media. Ooh, I bet I could get Vicki to run with the idea without even talking to her. Stephanie loves planting rumors. She'll help."
"Tim," Jason said, his hands falling onto Tim's shoulders, stilling him. Tim blinked. "Are you listening now?" Jason asked.
"Yes?"
"You are talking multiple levels of fraud here, including conning Batman, and--" Jason paused. "You're not going to tell B the truth?"
Tim shrugged. "It's more airtight if he believes it."
Jason stared at him for a long moment and then laughed, stepping back and releasing Tim. "You know what? Fine. You manage to pull this off, I'll come home. To you. Not him."
Tim grinned. "Accepted. Any opinions on your birth name?"
"Nah, surprise me." And with that, Jason tossed Tim a casual salute and left.
Two months later, Jason turned on the news for background noise while he cleaned his guns. He wasn't paying attention until he heard Tim's voice from the TV.
"I've always wanted a brother," Tim said, talking to Vicki Vale. "I know it is unlikely, but I really want to hope William is still out there and that we can be reunited." Then Tim turned toward the camera. "William, if you're listening, it's time to come home."
Jason laughed. The little shit had done it. He pulled out his phone and sent a text. "William?"
Tim replied a few minutes later. "Shakespeare and Darcy. Your middle name is Austen. Want to help plan the reunion?"
"Count me in."

Look, if you like House and would like to know where the writers got some of the ideas for the mysteries House faces, particularly in season 1, check out Berton Roueche's The Medical Detectives.
This is a fantastic collection of news articles chronicling medical mysteries from the 80s and maybe earlier? They're fun to read. I found this book in the library in college and immediately added it to my Christmas list (I now have a copy on my shelves).
If you want some good, but popular medical writing that focuses on doctors figuring out weird phenomena, this is your book. The chapters aren't super long. It is a great book to read in multiple short sittings.
Seriously. Check it out.
ETA: Look at this! Archive.org has got you covered! Go. Read.
ETA 2: Added back in the link to archive.org that disappeared.

My #1 post of 2022
I want a Leverage/Stargate crossover in which Parker, Hardison, Eliot, and Sophie all know about Stargate and all think they are the only ones who know.
Eliot is easy. He worked for them. He's been off world and has seen aliens up close. He doesn't want that danger anywhere near his team and, if they knew aliens were real, they would seek them out.
Parker, pre-Leverage, was once going to steal from a goa'uld. She's hidden away and safe, but sees the goa'uld change hosts or similar. It is one of the few times she walked away without her score. She still stole something, just not what she had gone for. She also neatly accepted that mind controlling snake monsters are real and that made her much more accepting of the impossible and, weirdly, less afraid in general. Nothing beats a mind controlling snake monster.
Hardison hacked his way into the mountain base while setting up in Portland. He didn't go in deep; he was just looking for something cute and Santa related for Parker. Instead, he found a mission report some idiot had sent in via email. The report had video. Brutal video. He watched. Three times. And then bought himself a new computer solely to hack deeper and figure out if what he saw was real or fake. It was real. He was thrilled--space ships and aliens were real! He was terrified--space ships and aliens were real and not very friendly. He wanted no part of that.
Sophie conned her way into a dinner with military officials. It wasn't even for a job. She was just bored and wanted to test out her skills. (Part of her also wanted to get caught. Part of her post-Nate was a bit self-destructive). She found a man fuming and lent a listening ear. With a bit of alcohol and a lot of pretending to know more than he did, she learned about the Stargate program. She locked that knowledge up deep, ready to wield it if ever needed.
And then, one day in New Orleans, SGC comes knocking for Eliot. It is one of the times that Hardison is home with them. Eliot is cooking and Hardison and Parker are teasing him in the kitchen. Harry is out. Breanna is working to undo a virus Hardison created for her as a challenge.
Then, say, Cameron Mitchell walks in. Eliot glances over from where he's cooking at the stove and says, "No. Turn around. Walk away."
Hardison has gone still. He remembers Cameron's face from the reports he read and watched. "How do you know Eliot?" he asks.
"We used to work together."
Hardison turns to Eliot, eyes wide. "Eliot?"
"Better question," Eliot says, turning off the heat. "How do you know Mitchell here?"
"Someone has to keep an eye on what the government is doing," Hardison vamps, part of him still hoping to end this conversation without Parker learning about the spaceships and aliens.
"Dammit Hardison."
By this time, Parker has hopped off the counter and walked up to Cameron to get a better read on him. She also nicks his wallet and firearm. "Catch," she calls to Eliot as she tosses the firearm to him.
"Parker!" Eliot chastises as he snatches the gun. "Don't throw firearms."
She shrugs. "I knew you'd catch it."
This is the first time Cameron has looked wrongfooted this entire time. "What?"
"Cameron Mitchell," Parker reads from his ID. "Airforce."
Cameron swipes it back from her. Parker lets him. As she turns, she catches Breanna's eye and gestures to her ear.
Breanna pulls out of the code she was working on and starts looking for any foreign frequencies to find out who is talking to Mitchell.
Sophie, who has been watching quietly this entire time and noting Cameron's military standing, takes into account his actual division and the ways Eliot and Hardison are acting and clearly talking around something. She decides to make a gamble.
"Does this have anything to do with the Stargate program?"
Eliot, Hardison, and Cameron all freeze and look at her.
"I'm sorry, ma'am," Cameron says, "But how do you know about the Stargate program."
Sophie offers him a beatific smile. "People do talk--" she pauses and gives him a searching look "--commander is it? Interesting that the commander himself came to talk." She turns to Eliot. "This might be important."
Cameron spins to Eliot. "Did you tell her?"
Eliot crosses his arms. "I've not said anything."
Parker raises her hand. "What's the Stargate Program?
Hardison is the first to speak up. "It is a secret program that deals with threats from space."
"Like aliens?" Breanna asks, continuing to hack into Cameron's comms. She's surprised by the layers of protection.
